Learn Academy is looking for a Full-time BCBA for the 2022 school year for our location Fresno, CA. It's a 12 month position and starting salary at $70k.

About the Role:

As a BCBA, you will provide treatment and consultation services to develop, facilitate, and refine programming using evidence-based treatment methods. Simply put, your work will directly change the lives of children, and will help shape the future of our growing company. Your targeted job responsibilities will include:

  • Collaboration with team to develop, refine, and maintain ABA-based program management for children with autism spectrum disorders and other disabilities.
  • Supervision, training and coaching of RBT's
  • Collaboration with student’s treatment team and families to improve communicative, social, and behavioral outcomes
  • Facilitation of parent training
  • Facilitation of networking families with community resources

  • Must be Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certified in the state of CA.
  • Knowledge and proficiency with a range of clinical approaches to care
  • Strong assessment skills and treatment planning expertise
  • Good analytical/critical thinking skills with the ability to record, track, and analyze therapy progress
  • Must have strong positive communication and interpersonal skills – works well with parents, children and other professionals
  • Client focus and strong ability to function as a team member
  • One to two (1-2) years of supervised BCBA work experience and five (5) years of behavioral work (with children) experience preferred
  • Bachelor Degree in behavioral health field required; Master Degree in Behavioral Health
  • Ability to maintain fingerprint clearance card, CPR & First Aid certification
  • Must hold a valid drivers’ license and maintain proper current insurance
  • Ability to travel to the different school sites in the East and West Valleys as needed
  • Excellent technology and computer skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • PCMA certified is a plus but not required.  We can provide PCMA training for you.
  • Ability to safely and effectively use Crisis Management Interventions (including the use of therapeutic holds) of all involved (e.g. self, student, other employees)

·         Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (stoop, reach, stand, kneel, squat, sit, walk, lift, pull, grasp) for extended periods of time 

·         Must be willing and able to implement safety measures consistent with Professional Crisis Management Association (PCMA) such as: therapeutic holds and transportation procedures utilizing quick body movements in the course of maintaining the safety of students with special needs
